Tuesday morning and as you can see the river has settled nicely following the weekend .

Friday morning and overnight rain has resulted in a lift , will update later if it continues .

Monday morning and the river has continued to fall over the weekend despite some areas receiving heavy rain we remain unaffected .

Saturday morning and despite more heavy showers yesterday the river has dropped a little , not ideal but better than expected , weather remains changeable .

Unsurprisingly following yesterdays rainfall the river is up , signs are that it has peaked and is falling slowly , however with more rain forecast this could change , otherwise tomorrow should be good .

Despite yesterdays heavy showers the river remains unmoved , the heatwave whilst enjoyable , did make fishing difficult for most . However that's all in the past and a fading memory as a consequence the change has improved the fishing as you would expect , with fish movement more noticeable .
