After a rise in level yesterday peaking late last night , the river is settling down and is in good order .

Incredibly considering the heavy showers during the last 24 hrs , river levels remain good as these pictures show taken at 0800 hrs this morning .

Yesterdays heavy showers has resulted in a lift in level overnight , currently falling as at 0900 this morning , colour is good and improving .

Yesterdays showers have resulted in a slight lift in levels this morning , gusty downstream wind and risk of further showers later , typical August day in the dales !!

Level remains good surprisingly considering some shortlived but heavy downpours we recieved last evening , forecast has given showers some heavy for later today .
The Grayling was caught by Oliver Avis one of our Junior members and touched 3lb !!!!! on Olly`s scales and was followed shortly after by a hen fish touching 2.5 lb !! both fish falling to czech nymphs
