Following what has seemed an age , Winter seems to be behind us and Spring has sprung and a new season has started today .As you can see levels are excellent and a glorious day is in prospect , I struggle to remember an opening to a season as favourable as today looks , and I look forward to meeting new and old Fly men on the river .
Always an exciting day as I can begin to assess how well the fish have wintered .
