After a rise in level yesterday peaking late last night , the river is settling down and is in good order .

Incredibly considering the heavy showers during the last 24 hrs , river levels remain good as these pictures show taken at 0800 hrs this morning .

Yesterdays heavy showers has resulted in a lift in level overnight , currently falling as at 0900 this morning , colour is good and improving .

Yesterdays showers have resulted in a slight lift in levels this morning , gusty downstream wind and risk of further showers later , typical August day in the dales !!

Level remains good surprisingly considering some shortlived but heavy downpours we recieved last evening , forecast has given showers some heavy for later today .
The Grayling was caught by Oliver Avis one of our Junior members and touched 3lb !!!!! on Olly`s scales and was followed shortly after by a hen fish touching 2.5 lb !! both fish falling to czech nymphs

River levels remain good currently overcast with light south westerly winds and the risk of showers later today .
Glorious 12th is getting closer and last minute work to the butts is being undertaken , re-turfing ,strimming and numbering

Sunday 01st August !! and levels remain good , I was out early putting my six weight through its masters syllabus and had five fish strike my orange yarn !!! Two of these were rising fish which I specifically targeted with the yarn and both accepted willingly the others took as I stripped back running line , the session made more rewarding by the brief visit of a fellow angler .
