A fine bright Saturday morning and the river remains in good shape .

Saturday morning and following rain overnight the river has risen although the colour is presently good , however its difficult to know whether its still rising only time will tell and I will update later if it gets worse .

Despite heavy rain overnight the river remains unchanged , looking upstream on the environment website as far as Kettlewell there is no sign of movement up there either . The river is running very clear this morning . Sunny spells with the risk of showers late afternoon .

Thursday morning and the river is in good shape dry day ahead with the risk of showers some heavy later on this evening !

Wednesday morning overcast with light drizzle at the moment and the river looks good .

Monday morning and the river has fallen overnight and continues to do so , importantly the colour is good enough for the fly .

Sunday morning and the river as you can see is not good and neither is the colour , hopefully a dry day today should put this right for Monday .

Saturday morning and following a dry day yesterday the river is much improved although this maybe short lived as todays forecast is for rain later on .

Following heavy overnight rain the river is up and coloured as a result , the good news is that it is falling and the forecast is for a dry day today so should be ok tomorrow .

The river remains good , a small lift over night as a result of a few heavy showers yesterday however this is welcome .

Good day in prospect , level and colour is good again following the big lift on Monday and this will only get better as the river continues to fall .

Tuesday morning and a bright start , as you can see the river is on the way down following yesterdays high water , the colour is currently dark tea , good chance of a fish if you fish the margins improving as the day lengthens .
