A frosty start and the river is falling following a small lift during the night . The colour is good however and is fishable .

Finally following an unsettled week the river has fallen back to a good level and is looking good for the fly again .

The river remains high looks set to rise further given todays forecast for heavy showers coupled with strong wind .
Three hours later and the river has risen further !!!

The river remains above normal and with heavy rain and strong winds forecast this evening it looks set to stay this way for the moment .

A dry day locally yesterday however rain overnight has pushed the level up this morning and the colour is poor .

A misty start to the day and the level has dropped overnight and the colour is greatly improved . A dry day is forecast today and this picture will continue to improve .

The river remains unmoved and conditions are much improved now the fresh easterly wind has gone the pictures below show two good Grayling caught on separate occasions this week and sent to me by Malcolm Hunter .

The rain never arrived yesterday and the level remains unchanged , however the wind remains breezy .
